DENIZ SIMON (1980), also known as ''Dee'' and ''The Ambassadress Of The Sixties'', a Swiss pianist, keyboardist & vocalist, composer, producer & singer/songwriter based in Zurich & Los Angeles. Began playing piano as a child (classical music), afterwards studied Jazz and modern music (Piano & Vocals). Has worked as a music teacher & workshop leader for many years. Extensive studio & stage experience. Known for her versatility in different styles.
Her strength is improvisation - a blend of Classic, Jazz, Latin & Blues. She composes her own pieces for piano & vocals or rearranges well-known songs. She collaborates with JAMIROQUAI's Rob Harris, Derrick McKenzie, Paul Turner & The Jam Horns.
Further collaborations include the American icons of CANNED HEAT Adolfo ''Fito'' de la Parra, Richard ''Rick'' Reed, Dale Spalding & Jimmy Vivino.
She works with the Swiss studio musicians Urs Nuessli, Marc Portmann, Lisa Scannell, Felix Zindel & producer Urs Wiesendanger.
Apart from music, she is also a passionate fan of classic cars & vintage racing.
